MU picked as team that can win it all on CBS At the Half
« on: February 19, 2012, 01:21:57 PM »
Halftime of the Purdue game, Greg Anthony and Seth Davis were asked if any school outside the top 10 could win it all.  Davis said no.  Anthony said yes and said Marquette had the best chance.

Here is the video clip

I'd cream my pants.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Ironically, I am going to be in Milwaukee on the Monday night of the national championship doing a campus visit with my daughter.   If MU gets that far, I may have to blow off my family, go to a bar on campus, and visit the college my daughter wants to check out completely hungover and possibly without sleeping.

I don't think we can without Gardner, but our defense has adjusted better than I could have dreamed to not having Otule. We still need the right kind of draw, though. I'd love a 2/3 with Mizzou, Duke, and Indiana as the other top seeds, as well as some upsets in other regions taking out UK, KU, UNC, and tOSU, and we have a chance. Still a slim one, but a chance.

Clearly hide this tape from the players or we will certainly lose to Rutgers by 10 :-)
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

The only time Greg saw MU in person, he worked the 17 point loss at ND. That's a nice statement by Greg to think so highly of MU.

Nice recall. I remember that. He really likes our team. I remember at the end he said that loss was more about ND playing so well than MU playing bad.
