Big Daddy 84

I can't share source but if you look at my previous posts on this subject you will see I am 100% right on each time. Just saw the post on JSonline where it says DG is doubtful..he is not doubtful..he is out.

Hopefully he is healthy by BE tourney.

The one where you said that there was "bad news" after it was already said he was out for 3-4 weeks?

Yes you were reaching.  The news is exactly as bad as it was supposed to be so far.

I didn't realize that we finished in fifth place in the BEast for four consecutive seasons prior to last season.

He's also about 60 lbs lighter.

My guess is his source is Devante Gardner. Might as well keep him out for the Rutgers game as well, they're terrible.

Wrong, that is the perfect game to play him spot minutes, since it likely will be a W and it will give him an opportunity to get back in game shape before ths stretch run.

Well if u say so. Not sure why you risk bringing him back 3 days later to play rutgers. Give him the extra week and spot minutes vs a quality team....where his minutes will be needed.

Sorry jay, spelled his name wrong, please forgive me.

I should say if he's healthy enough; there is no reason to have his adjustment period span one more game than it needs to when we're so close to the end of the season.

I'm figurin' DG isn't gonna be worth Sheesh the rest of this season. Tryin' to condition this dude and have him be a help in the Tourney, after this amount of inactivity, seems like a monumental task.

Plus Buzz has to hone the team to play the way it is currently configured.  DG may play limited minutes the rest of the way but there's no way Buzz can reshape things yet one more time to accomodate his style.

3-4 weeks was never said by anyone accept you and Dodds.  It was always listed day to day.

Buzz said recently that when Chris went down he tried to change too much too fast and that's why we had some trouble adjusting for a while.  Because of that, when Davante went down he said he changed nothing.  I think that's because he knows Gardner will be back and he didn't want to change things mid-stream that he would have to change back again for the tournament.  Don't think much if any reshaping will be necessary.

Yeah, I remember that.  But do we really think we'd be 3/4 court trapping on defense as much if DG was on the floor?  And hasn't Jae spent more time down low on offense?

DG doesn't play 40 mpg, and we don't 3/4 trap more than 5-10 mpg as a momentum changer, regardless of whether or not he is available.

Please, share the link that said "3-4 weeks" before my post.

Thanks Chief.
