Is Vander hurt, or just in the doghouse again?

He's not good.

He sat for like 10 minutes.  MU had six point lead, came back in and now tied.

Junior has two fouls, thats is only reason he is playing.

That Cotton shot didn't look like a 3 on replay.
"Nice helmet!"
"Actually, it's not a helmet, it's a hairmet.  You see, it's got extra room in it so you don't mess up your hairdo."

How many jump shots have our guards blocked this year?  Answer...none.  How many shooters have they put on the line attempting to block a jumper?  Answer....one too many.  This dates back to Dominic James...It's stupid.

If it wasn't for the terrible fouls on jump shooters and getting owned on their defensive board, this was a solid half.

Ach, would be up double digits if we weren't getting slaughtered on the defensive glass.. Hopefully a combination of the 3/4 pressure and getting some good minutes from Gardner to take up space or Anderson to pull some down can fix that in the second.

I must say. BE network is so low budget.

Reason MU is behind:

Rebounding.  PU has 24, MU 15.
PU has 10 offensive, MU has 4
                  Batts has 11 for himself.

Free Throws. PU has 13, MU 5

Fouling Cotton on a three and Council on last second shot stunk. Stop fouling Cotton.

Adjust to above in some way and MU will pull this out.

Gardner is a no show and Blue is a no show.  Rest of team playing well, especially DJO and Jae.

BTW, PU is shooting 30% for the game and is in the lead.  Unreal......

Cannot see a team shooting 30% and then winning.

Hoping for a better 2nd half from Ox which in turn would help with the rebounding disparity.  DJO, Jae, Mayo, Jamil look solid and 7 dimes from Junior.  Vander looks lost again.  Hit the glass, get some paint touches which will even out the foul shots and we will get this W.

Free throw difference is the reason the team shooting 30% in leading.

Missed the 1st half see the box score but anyone fill me in? I see Ox didnt score at all but had 2 fouls so did he sit a lot? DJO and Jae filling it up but batts with 11 1st half boards? I know Prov is good at getting to the line but 17 freebies already?

Just wondering how the game looks

Odom is very good.

MU getting bitched on their glass. Leading to swipes on second chances, thus, the high FT attempts.

They've also decided not to defend PC's best 3 shooter.

With Cuse going down, MU cannot blow this opportunity.

Real chance to get into title chase.

The more I watch Vander, the more I wish he had not changed his mind about attending Wisky. He is in no way a Big East-caliber player.
