Here's a video of what I thought was Preston Knowles going to mid court to perform his throat slash after the final buzzer last year.  Upon further review I think he was just eating some KFC at the Yum Center.  Either way I'm over it.

Warning - This Video is very disturbing.  But, after today it doesn't bother me as much.

I agree it was dumb, and he just got caught up in the moment.

From my vantage point, he had an extra word with Pitino in the handshake line...I can only assume that it was a quick apology.  He seemed to say something to a couple of coaches behind Pitino also.

Just a mistake, it is not like he missed a handshake on the bench or anything
