Willie this is an honest question. In terms of the rankings you say you look at the current standings/play of a team and say Georgetown should be ahead of Marquette. So do you literally look at the last game that team has played to determine where you rank each team? Because Georgetown's last win was nice being over MSU, but let's keep in mind MSU was missing 2 of their 3 best players in Dawson and Payne. Prior to that, Georgetown had lost 5 straight games. So the only way you can justify saying Georgetown is playing better than Marquette is if you look only at their last game played to determine their place in the "rankings." That just doesn't make much sense. If people do that, then Arizona would find itself unranked while sitting at 20-1. And Cal would be 15-9 or something and find itself ranked in the top 5 of the country. It just doesn't make sense, logically speaking. Do you see what I'm getting at?
Yes, I see what you are getting at. Those rankings are just a snapshot, however. Az. did drop 1 place with their loss. I put GT ahead of MU because of that last victory combined with the ass kicking we just received from St. John's. Right now I honestly see MU as 8th in conference "power" based on overall performance and most recent play. Now if MU won 2 or 3 straight, then they would bounce up. Besides it is simply my opinion, which counts for no more than some blogger who rated them 4th. Most of the RPI's show us about 7th in BEast. RPI's as I understand them should be more accurate than somebody's power ranking, because they are based on records, opponents records, where played etc. More statistically accurate. GT is rated about 20 places above MU in most recent RPI. If you think differently, fine. There is a return game with them, and I hope we humiliate them.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.
