I'm pretty sure WARRIOR was taken at the time .. you can check availability by emailling them and asking them to check some for you:  special-plates.dmv@dot.state.wi.us

FYI, personal plates in Wisconsin is a no brainer.  $15 extra per year.  Peanuts!  You probably spend that much in coffee per week.

.. The personalized frame .. I made myself.  Here's the website:  http://www.traffictalk.com/tt/product/?pid=4

.. it's $15 plus shipping.  I'd looked at a bunch of other styles .. the metal ones just don't stand out as well, I thought.   The website above allows you to customize everything, the background color, font color, type of font.   I tried to find a place that you could upload a logo .. didn't find one years ago, but who knows, they might exist now.

I was in Phoenix recently and ran into a 'middle-aged' guy (like me) at the Biltmore pool w/ a Marquette shirt on..., after a while, I thought he'd notice my MU cap but he didn't, I asked if he was an alum- he was, class 2 years behind mine.  Lives in Chicago, brought his son over to meet me who is a recent alum now in California.  We talked Bball (briefly).  When parting I said 'go warriors',  he replied 'go eagles!'  The son had much more enthusiam than the dad, more interest, more 'spirit'..., in spite of the 'go eagles'.  byw, 'Topper, I saw an IL plate 'MRKETT' (I think) w/ a warriors frame on a Cad XLR in old town..., nice.
