I did not read it the same way.  I read it more as a 2G in a PG body.

Well, the article also called him a combo guard. That's not the same as an undersized 2.

Not sure I put much stock in the writer listing him as a combo guard being that he displayed point guard abilities.  He never mentioned anything about DJO as a PG, or even if he played PG.

DJO's mentioned throughout the summer that he's been working on his point guard skills, however.

Well this guy thinks he's a point guard, and the third best in the Big East no less.  If you actually read the article, however, it becomes clear the author has little idea what he's talking about (He originally listed the already graduated Corey Fischer as the #1 PG before simply deleting him and shifting the others up). Still a DJO mention though, and he has Crowder on the SF list.

Quote3. Darius Johnson-Odom Marquette- Senior

Last Season: 15.8 ppg 2.4 assists

Darius Johnson-Odom will most likely lead the Big East in scoring as he finished seventh in scoring in the Big East behind a bunch of seniors and NBA Draftees. With those players out of the picture, Johnson-Odom should have a career year this season. Last season, he was a big part of Marquette's run to the Sweet 16 which resulted in a loss to UNC. They upset Syracuse in a big round of 36 as Johnson-Odom led his team with 17 points. Most of the season was exactly that for this player and it should be more as this year will be the year where he is the big leader on the team that everyone will look to to get the wins. This should not be a problem for the senior point guard as he reached the 20 point plateau six times and scored in double figures 31 times. That means that it was only three times that he failed to reach double figures in points. Expect more of the same or better in the 2012 season.

Canadian Dimes

wow.... that was well written!

The guy might have the writing skills of a sixth grader, but it's still better than the write-up from the guy who predicted Kemba Walker would go in the 3rd of 4th round of the NBA Draft.
