Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.... Jimmy is going to get his paper next month.  If he had enough credits to graduate after the fall semester, it doesn't matter what he does in spring... you can't lose credits you've already earned and you have to be minimally enrolled to play on the team.  Even if Jimmy failed all of his classes in spring miserably, he still walks.

Granted, if I blew off a semester knowing I already had my 120, 150 or however many credits kids need today, my father would have blown a gasket.

Conversely, if I was NBA material and I blew off training in my last semester to focus on classes I didn't need to graduate, my father would have slapped me to kingdom come.
