I figured out Marquette's problem!!!
« on: November 14, 2006, 02:41:00 PM »
OK, yes, I'm happy we've got 2 wins.  And yes, I think this team is very talented and will get better.  But, I've still been left here wondering what's been missing the past couple games.  Finally, I think I've got it:

Cramps!

That's right, you heard me.  DJ hasn't gone down with cramps at all this year.  Sure it scared the hell out of us last year, but if he's not going down with cramps, then he's not playing with enough intensity!

Yes, this is sorta sarcastic...but the intensity issue remains...

How about this:   They can't buy a basket because they don't have any "Money".    Thank you, I'm in town all week.   Try the veal
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

The real problem yesterday wasn't cramps.

It was MAINE.  The last time Maine came to the Bradley Center, like last night, we scored a scant 59 points .. and lost to Maine 68-59.

Once the stink of Maine goes away, we'll be fine.  We need to air out the Bradley Center after their game with Idaho, or we're doomed to another white-knuckler.

The real problem has been that, on another board, I've been using the "Triple Threat" photo as my avatar.  As of last night, it's officially gone, as for the most part, any player (or players) who I associate myself with (by buying their jersey, or in this case, using their picture as an avatar) turns to 'bad'.  So, tonight, Matthews, James, and McNeal should combine for at least 50 with less than five turnovers.
