Did I miss something? Why is everyone all of the sudden worrying that Buzz is leaving?  I saw the quotes from his time with Homer... Didn't seem like he said anything that would make me think he was one foot out the door.

It's what we do around here ... as a group we get things wrong.

Recall this poll back on December 30 right before the BE season started

How Many Regular Season Big East Wins will MU need to make NCAA

90 respondents, no one took 9-9 ... 100% here were wrong!

1.  He didn't answer reporters stupid, pointless questions!
2.  Morons like Gottleib, Katz, and Parrish have baselessly  speculated about him leaving, so IT MUST BE TRUE!

Just go here, it sums it all up:

Katz is in on this?  Where did Katz say anything?  Or, are these guys all recycling one person's baseless quote?

Isn't this the very definition of sports "punditry"?

Crean didn't leave to go to IL. He waited for one of the top 7 spots in the country.

Next year Buzz will have 5 top 100 recruits, a juco all-american, and a 2nd team all big east player and some experienced (and hopefully well conditioned) size.

Why would he leave that for a lateral move and a rebuilding project?  He stays until he gets his godfather offer.

The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

By why go close to Texas and always wish you had waited for the big one?  Crean did it right.  Don't take a job like Arkansas, but rather wait until Kentucky or IU ask for you.

Buzz has already shown up and gotten J-May, Blue, and Wilson which is most of the top local talent.  He will be able to duplicate that at Ark or OU.  He can also continue to recruit the entire country.  I am not sure he gains so much recruiting wise that it is a no brainer for him to move his family again and take another 4 years to rebuild.   Year 5 is when we really see what a coach can do, and he has to want to see what he has built in 2 years here.

Agree wait for the BEST job.  Arkansas is a step down, OU is a train wreck waiting for NCAA sanctions, Tech is in Lubbock, (Have any of you ever been to Lubbock, I have, talk about a one horse town, makes Racine look like LA)

You're skewing the results of that poll.  The poll clearly stated that one had to assume NO BE TOURNEY WINS.  Considering we were one of the last teams in, I'm pretty sure we would NOT have made the NCAA tourney with no BE Tourney wins.
