# @go_marquette They've had others, I know. But none on the road, that long and in the locker room. That was a first in 9 years for me. about 9 hours ago via web in reply to go_marquette

# Little note for #MUBB recruiting wonks: former Milwaukee Vincent star Phillip Nolan was at the game, and in the locker room afterward. about 10 hours ago via web

What do we know about Nolan?

Milwaukee bigman who switched to high school in New Jersey.

I presume a potential recruit attending a post-game team meeting is within NCAA rules?  Maybe it counts as a visit, but I bet he heard an earful.

Yeah he got his first life lesson alright

He is very skinny and may be a project, but he is ranked in top 100, is 6'10", and 16th at his position. We should land him.

Nolan's a 2012 and we were the first school to offer him while he was still in Milwaukee. He's been ranked in the top 100, though I think he's fallen out in a few services. Projects as the face-up four that we've been hoping for. He'll have to add strength, but he's definitely more a four than a five, which would be really nice to go along with Otule (for a year) and Gardner the year after.

Freeport Warrior

He reminds me of Merritt in high school. Played for Milwaukee Spartans. I thought he was offerred by Texas last year.

I haven't watched him personally, but here's his ESPN profile:

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/111668/phillip-nolan

Most services have him as a top 100, with him checking in at 91 on ESPN and 89 on Rivals. He was listed as a 4-star universally, but some services have dropped him to a 3-star since his transfer to St. Benedict's in New Jersey. He's usually described as a quick, face-up power forward, which sounds like exactly what we need to go along with Otule and Gardner up front.

Are we talking about dicks or basketball players?

it's obvious by the python sized bulge down the leg of my zulu pants she doesn't have to make a choice.

They can be in the locker room but they can't engage in any game-day simulations, such as name-plates on the lockers. Also if there were any former players in the locker room and the recruit talked to them I think that is a viiolation. I think Iowa was in trouble with something like that. Seems like there is a wide variety of arcane rules and regulations.

Reports are he lacks girth.

Lend him some of those pills of yours and he'll be just fine, but remember to seek medical attention after 4 hours

are you all serious, talk about the player not dicks

According to an eyewitness, this is the guy Buzz kept waiting for 75 minutes Saturday night. But I guess that was part of a lameass thread.

Some players are dicks and some Dicks are players.

Also according to that lameass thread, this is the guy that was in the locker room during the meeting. Did this eyewitness of yours stand by for an hour and 15 watching this guy?

tower912

So this guy got to see up close that Buzz cares more about his team then he does about sportswriters.   Well, than certainly won't help. ::)

Yes, the eyewitness was an MU grad, an award-winning writer, who waited outside the locker room for 75 minutes. And the recruit was NOT in the locker room. He was waiting outside the room.

tower912

I think I read his blog post over at the scout site.   He would fit in well over here.

Have no idea. I don't read the scout site.
