So, if Jordan Taylor happened to be on this Marquette team - and not on UW - would MU have many more wins?  I suspect yes.  Would UW have more lossses?  Absolutely.  As a result, would Buzz Williams all of a sudden be a much better "coach" than Bo Ryan??

Big time players win games at the college level and NBA.   Coaching is secondary to overall talent.  (We all saw what happened once DWade left Marquette.) St. John's is a very talented team -  7 major contributors who are 4th year seniors.  MU is a talented team as well, but struggles significantly due to not having a very good point point guard. Buycks is doing his best, but not his natural position. Boothe for St. John's was HUGE last night - as was Chris Wright for GTown, Hansbrough for ND, Fisher/Wayans for Nova.

Its a ying and yang dude.  Look at MSU.  How many Final Four have they gone to and how many players are really good in the league.
