In essence, the committee says Marquette (8 seed) and Purdue (9 seed) are the same.

Purdue 9-7 in the Big 10
Purdue's best road win: Northwestern
Purdue's best home wins: Virginia and Michigan St.

This committee stuck it to Marquette and the Big East.

Is there any way the Big East can get any answers?

he's right though. the committee basically said marquette is a purdue satellite north campus, at least during the month of march

outrageous!  illinois and purdue don't belong in tourney!  especially w slight to syracuse and west virginia.  6 teams from a weak big 10, and only six teams from the big east?  and who has a tougher road  than us?  without McSteal!

Come on Marquette... time to strap it on!
