But if you watch the replay, DJO yells something, but he isn't T'd up until he puts on the three point goggle.

MU B2002

I would love a still of him flashing the goggle, as you can see the ref in the background T him up while he is doing it.

I have never in my entire life seen a player get T'd up for saying a "naughty word" to no one in particular. You see coaches and players mouth things all the time. Horrible call.

They were warned.  Stop making excuses.

Predictable responses from SSW.  He has never claimed a sub-par job by the refs in 5+ years.

Do you think he was the only player to use profanity from tip-off to zeroes?

Do referees ever make mistakes in your eyes?

Jeez. A weak technical is a weak technical. Didn't cost them the game, but come on.

After a 3 point shot, a player says, "Count it, ______".  Given that Buzz wouldn't repeat the word, I'm doubt the missing word was "please".

Thinking about the context, coupled with the words Buzz would likely be uncomfortable about using in public, my guess is that the word started with "B" and ends with "itch."

If thats the case, its not unreasonable for ref to think the comment was directed at him, and most definitely worthy of a T.

Stop making excuses...........for the ref.  That was as big of a BS call I have seen in a long time and yes it stopped our momentum.  That 9 point lead could have easily been pushed to double digits.  Instead in a blink of an eye it goes back down to 4.  Don't know if we still would have lost or not but it did make a difference.

Going forward, hopefully DJO learns a lesson and we don't put the refs in a position to call another stupid, idiotic BS call again.

No, I have said repeatedly that refs who do poor jobs usually do not benefit one team over the other, and that making excuses for poor refereeing masks oftentimes the real problems.  For instance, I thought the referees let the game get way too physical.  It didn't benefit either team in particular so I don't think it had a bearing on the game.

But in this case, I cannot believe that people do not understand the issue.  They have a ref with a reputation with a quick technical...they were warned not to use profanity...yet it is the refs fault after DJO screams a profanity after a basket?

Please...DJO can control his emotions.  He failed to do so.
