If I wasn't poolside in 84 degree L.A weather I would drinking with more of scowl on my face.

Gave me a bad vibe on Packer game. Cannot handle another disappointing loss today.

MU B2002

I am surprisingly upbeat.  This may have to do with the fact that I found out the result before watching my DVR'd second half.

The Nova loss in the BET, FSU in Orlando, and Wash in NCAA still out rank this one for nut kick games in recent memory.

Here's to beating Depaul by 40 on Tuesday.

Worst part is that the game was so early, ruining the entire day, not just the evening.

The sad part is that I think I'm recovering more quickly than the last soul crushing loss, which means I expect MU to find a way to lose these.  Now the window is just bigger.  18 points with 5 to go is no longer a safe bet with the MU program.

Are you kidding?  That makes all the difference!!

I've debated tivo'ing all the games, checking the final score and then watching them.  That last 5 minutes was the most gutwrenching sports viewing I've done in years.
No Finish Line

I turned on a Lifetime movie, not sure what it was, but I couldn't stand to have anything sports related on TV. Then I made a chicken pot pie for lunch. Not a frozen one, actually cooked it myself. The tedium of making it helped get my mind off the game. And I watched an episode of The Office, hoping that the humor would lighten my mood.

Of course, as soon as I log back on here, I realize none of it has actually helped.

Went out and stuffed my facehole with BBQ ribs.

It's nothing a thrashing of the Packers won't cure.

I don't follow the NFL much anymore, I've gone on strike because I hate Vick. Regardless, I really want the Pack to lose tonight. Because if they win, I'll hear about this loss all damn day at work tomorrow, and I mean all day because it's a 24-hour shift. But if the Packers lose, everyone else will be too put off by that to even remember that we crapped the bed earlier in the day.

Go Falcons.

StillWarriors

Joining things late here-just got done watching on dvr. Was thinking with ND game and first 35 mins that this team is playing as well as any MU team in recent years. Then we take the damn air out of the ball and give them a chance. We didn't even need a big guy to pound it in, just spread the floor and get there like we did the rest of the game. Williams missing that point blank shot hurt, as did Buycks taking it in instead of getting a foul late. So pissed-cant even believe that happened. L'ville and their crowd were completely out of it and we let them up off the mat. No excuse.

wife was gone, almost threw the remote at the TV.....laid some fbombs, took my lumps on facebook from haters....I'm done now.....forgot about it....GO PACK!

Daniel

I have not been coping well.  Lots of screaming during the game as the unbelievable was unfolding.  I was left alone in the family room watching.  Too much noise on my part.  I did not do well watching this game slip away.  3/4s of brilliant play by MU, and we go cold.  No - not an easy one to take.  If it ws a close game all the way we say we hung tought with another tough team.  Blow an 18 point lead and lose - no, no excuse.  None.  Buzz is still learning in his third year.

If you can't find what you are looking for on wanktube, you are one sick puppy.

I'm doing better now,  since i just devoured a Pepi's pizza.  That always seems to help.

My blackberry didn't survive the game though.  Thankfully I was getting a new phone tomorrow so I had an excuse to throw it.

Boone

Picked up my guitar and played...just like yesterday...then I got on my knees and prayed....that we don't get fooled again (yeah, fat chance with this team).

Playing the guitar is truly cathartic. A thoroughly relaxing activity. Although, I would have pulled a Pete Townshend on it had it been handy at game's end.

Agree all around. Have been pissed all day. Will ruin a 3 day weekend and I also get nervous when we have a big lead. Am still haunted by Washington game last year. More of the same.

ATL MU Warrior

I was given a lesson in what really matters by my 3-year old son who was watching the game with me.  I got so upset that he said "Daddy, you're scaring me."

Turned off the TV, played with my son and haven't thought about the game until now.
