What are you driving?

Recent thread sparked my interest a bit.

Just picked up this a couple weeks ago, 2010 Crosstour.  Love it.

I went from Honda to Nissan and I am happier. The Maxima is much better driving machine than any Honda, though I am thinking a switch may be in order in the near future.

Drove Hondas (and one Acura) for many years.  Loved them.

Just a month ago got an Infiniti M (i.e., Nissan).  Love it (so far).

PRN's post notwithstanding, I think this is kind of interesting and I'm a little surprised by the domination by the Japanese brands in general and Honda in particular.  Here's my running tally:

Honda:  8 (includes two Acuras)
Toyota:  3  (surprised there's not a single Lexus in the bunch)
Nissan:  4 (includes two Infinitis)
Mazda:  1
Subaru:  1
Mercedes:  1
BMW:  1
Cadillac:  1
Chevy:  2
Pontiac:  1
Jeep:  1

I discount the American presence a little bit because two of you who drive American basically suggested that you're doing so against your will.

I'm not sure how discussing what car you drive has anything to do with how 'successful' you are.

I know plenty of unsuccessful people who drive beautiful cars, and vice versa.

I forgot, its a crime to enjoy something.  What was I thinking!

Dang it mu_hilltopper!  jk.  I was finna go with "RNGOUT" however... i had 2nd thoughts because of my affiliation with medicine (e.g., i did not want to become mistaken for a nurse specialized in inflammatory joint disease . . . ).  However, some other fan took that and parks near JVT on Juneau Ave., which I totally respect.

Also, WEREMU, i have totally seen your plates or the WERMU plate somewhere.  Also "AL2BUZ" which I definitely like, too.  Love seeing everyone creative for MU!!!

too many to reply to on here; i think Henry Sugar has the '96 Corolla?  PIMP!

I finally figured out that I really wanted a Hyundai Elantra when I was car-shopping, but ended up buying my coche from a 90yo lady off of Harlem ave in Chicago instead.... she had put 15k miles on it in FIVE YEARS.  Sick, I know.

JayBee, what gives?  we are talking cars, not clothes here :P

This is probably the kind of thread one would expect to find on BadgerNation, and a thread that BadgerNation would expect us to have. Although, the answers don't quite match the stereotype that Badger fans (read: Oshkosh grads) have for MU grads.

It's not the smoothest ride, but I blame my chauffeur for that. Also, the interior leaves something to be desired, but that can be remedied if you're blind and deaf with no sense of smell.

Looks like I'm the mileage champion...someone correct me if theirs is higher

96 Camry with 205k...bought it with 170k and have never had any problems, just routine maintenance. Change the oil every 5k and have cheap tires.

I don't care about the recent recalls, 90s Toyotas are monsters. Can literally drive them until the engine falls out. My dad had a 93 Camry that he hung onto until 180k and then sold.

My dad had a 93 Camry that he hung onto until 180k and then sold.
good job! we used to have an '85 Celica that had over 350,000 when we donated it to Rawhide, stil ran great just had to add a quart of oil every 500 miles or so

+1

I have a 1999 Sienna w/ 180K and it runs as good today as ever. Before that I owned a 1991 Celica (which kicked ass) and only got rid of that at 165K because we had kids.

Whichever one of my parents cars aren't being used at the time  ;D

2010 Chevy Traverse (really nice for being a big cross-over)
2008 Mazda 3 (really nice in the summer, horrible in the snow)
2008 Honda Civic (solid car all around)
Rocket Trigger Warning (wild that saying this would trigger anyone, but it's the world we live in): Black Lives Matter

Recent thread sparked my interest a bit.

Just picked up this a couple weeks ago, 2010 Crosstour.  Love it.

were you at cafe hollander for brunch today or somewhere equivalent?  not to be a creeper, but i totally saw a car w/ a packers license plate that read "reinko" on Downer and I figured who else could it be??  :)

My last two cars were Camry's - I had a 1992 and 2003 Camry and loved them.  I liked them so much I stuck with Toyota when I moved onto a minivan and have a 2010 Sienna I'm happy with.  I miss the mileage my Camry got but I knew that the minivan would get much worse mileage before I purchased it.
