Butler played the whole first half and didn't even register on the stat sheet. WVU took no free throws. 3 pointers helping WVU stay in the game, as well as going zone on MU. Marquette has to handle the zone better to pull this one out.

Considering Butler is still celebrating New Year's Eve by eating doughnuts, got to be happy with the slim lead at half.

Would be surprised if Buzz doesn't toss in Gardner middle 2nd half to try and tire out WVU coming off their travels.

Also, and I know this is crackpot theory, how about a little run for Jones and let him soften the zone? On the other end, go to a 1-3-1 to flummox WVU for the minute he's in the game or a soft box-and-1 on Mitchell (Blue) with Crowder on Jones. The rest of the 'Eers don't scare you. Bryant can't shoot well the entire game.

Tucker and Mitchell have hit some tough 3's...they remind me of us last year..the 3 is just a back breaker.  Crowder is playing off the charts...poor Jamil Jones..was at scorers table and play didn't stop for about 2 minutes..TV timeout comes..and he's back to the bench..

Seriously, at this point I would play Blue at point and bring Jones in at guard to spell Buycks.  Junior does absolutely nothing at this point...Jamail could do no worse.
