Get him out of there. He's hurting us far more than helping us.

Typical of season so far, whether it is DJO, Crowder, Butler, Buycks:

"How can he play like this when last game he was great"   No consistency whatsoever.

Marquette just looks horrible today. No energy, no rebounding, terrible shooting. Is there any bright spot today? Gonna be a long Big East season....

speaks to Buzz's ability to develop players.

This game is an utter embarrassment.  I'm going to go apecrap on the next student worker who calls me about donating to Marquette.  Losing to Wisconsin year after year is unacceptable.

Seriously?  Year after Year?  The two teams have split the last 8 games.  If MU would have won today it would be 3 of 4.  We have a lot of holes, maybe today some of the kool aid drinkers will finally wake up and recognize them, but to take it out on student athletes that call...really?

Very long.  Many will change their predictions following today's effort at home.  Running out of excuses about poor play.

Give UW some credit, they played great in second half so far with their star mostly on the bench.  One turnover in 17 minutes, thats impressive.

No outside threat.....UW took care of the ball and made plenty of shots with less than 5 to go on the shot clock and horrible rebounding.  Bad  bad recipe for this  game.

God I hate the Badgers...but, they did exactly what they needed to do today.

Junior has a way to go....as does Crowder.

I thought Blue played pretty well along with  DB....if DJO could find his shot....oh hell, probably would not have mattered anyway today.

They've rebounded more of their shots than we have. Unbelievable.

12 offensive rebounds for UW in second half, thats insane.

MU out rebounded 34 to 23 in game with 30 seconds to go.

How bad must some of our bench be in practice if they can not see the court?   I was hoping it would be a steady stream of athletic players putting pressure on UW and forcing turnovers and a quicker pace.   Limited EWill, no Jamail Jones, Reggie Smith was a liability, Otule did not play much nor contribute much....Crowder had many brain farts on defense and the boards.    Ouch.

You think it's the student athletes that make those calls?  It's not even students most of the time, just call centers looking for more dough out of my empty pocket.  And you're right, knee jerk reactions are not appropriate after a game like this, where so many problems with out defense and shooting abilities were exposed....

...but especially since we're magically still in this game.

whipped cream on sh#t.   That has been the last 4 minutes.

Still a lot of season to go.  Get ready for conference play and hope the youngsters improve and the experienced players step up.

Buycks does what Buycks does.   Don't even get a shot.   Sad

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

When I was working in the athletic department, yes it was the student athletes.

Maybe we can send Joe Fulce out in a wheelchair.  He would be our leading rebounder.

Buycks does what Buycks does.   Don't even get a shot.   Sad

DJO knocked the ball away from him.

Not having Fulce hurt on the boards,  but, the excitement about our bigs (that I had anyway) disappeared today by an utter domination on the inside from UW.

To play that poorly and still have a chance like that, and then to screw it up the way we did.....ugh. Kills me. I blame DJO for that TO, not Buycks.

That was a nice steal by DJO..

Buycks was our best guard today. He was guarding big all day and handled the ball very well.

agreed.   DJO has  been very disappointing this year, to say the least.   Neither "true" pg really made much of a difference.  Smith was a liability on both ends.   JC played okay on defense  but was out of control running the offense.    I miss Dominic James.

Yes, team looked very bad and if Buycks is our last minute goto man - this year could be very long.  However, as bad as we played, the game was a 2 point game at the end. The group with Maymon lost by 9 last year and recall many past blowout losses to Wisconsin.   DJO and Butler need to decide who is the "goto" guy at the end of the game.  Defense is a major problem and defensive rebounding.  However, Buzz will drill this into these guys and a win today would not help us.  These guys need to be broken down, before Buzz can bring them back up.  A win on a last second 3 pointer would have only validated the bad defense and rebounding.

You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.
