Badger Humor....let's get an early start
« on: December 07, 2010, 08:38:41 AM »
(Cliff Claven voice)..."it's a little known fact there, Normy, that basketball was ehyah actually invented in Wisconsin in the mid 90's there.  Ehyah they may have thought they were playing something like basketball, but ahhh until ehyah Dick Bennet and ah Bo Ryan ah started ah coaching that what is now widely accepted as the games most perfect ah form came to be."    And then Carla, wearing an MU sweathirt, hits him in the face with a towel.    Yeah, I know how weak it is.    But let's get this party started.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Q: How do you get a Wisconsin grad off your property?

A: Pay for the pizza.

When Marquette and Wisconsin were both in Boise a few years back for the NCAA Tournament, this Badger fan was in front of me.  I think he paid too much for his hat....

MarqPTM, do you still have the picture of Butch in a bikini or other players with hand guns?

I do indeed. However, I am sitting poolside in 80 degree heat in Playa del Carmen.

Feel free to stop in Johnsburg abode and get them. It won't add that much time to your commute.

is that really from 2001-2002? or is that a typo that was supposed to be 1991-1992?

My favorite movie line from "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" is: "Badgers?  We don't need no stinking badgers!"

You know, socialist states tend to be behind the times. That was the current look behind the Dane Curtain.

The black guy is from 2001-2002.  The white people are from 1991-1992.

Great stuff foreverwarriors.  My favorite is:

Quote
We begin, as we do every BADGER HATE WEEK, by remembering the long and illustrious history of UW-Madison basketball.  Here's a list of the NCAA tournament appearances by the Badgers from 1947-'48 to 1992-'93:

Fantastic.

I didn't realize Bucky had such a history when it comes to NCAA appearances from 1947-48 to 1992-93.  That's outstanding.

Haha I remember my freshman year (the 07-08 season) I went to the game in Madison with 3 other friends and took that picture off of here and put it on a poster that read "Brian Butch: 2003 McDonald's All-American, 2008 McDonald's employee. Ring out ahoya." They didn't allow posters into the Kohl Center, so we wrapped it around one of my friend's legs under his pants to get it in. Sitting 10 rows up in the middle of their student section during an MU win, you can imagine the Badger fans weren't too pleased with us.
