Not really.  Gardner had participated previously in summer camps and the like here. 

But it's not like anyone was running around wondering if Buzz could successfully recruit him.

Buzz is a great recruiter period.  With that said, Buzz please use the last scholarship for an agile big man!

Try this: When Gardner jumps, there is a very thin amount of air between his feet and the floor.

I do love Gardners play, however.
