Games on TV
« on: November 13, 2006, 11:35:52 AM »
Just curious.  Assuming MU wins the first 2 games of the CBE, will the Texas Tech game be the first televised game we have?  No chance that we are on vs Idaho St or the 2nd game of the CBE is there?

even the texas tech game is an espnU game, which most cable companies don;t have, so you'd have to go to a bar.  we'd have to make it to the championship to appear on espn2.

Agreed. Time Warner does suck. That is what you get with no competition.

hey at least comcast is switching to integrating tivo into their units and ditching the awful dvr software they had before.. now if only time warner or verizon would do the same..

would like to switch to one of those two but can't give up my tivo functionality.. directtv does have tivo and is an option but they are doing away with the tivo in favor of their own dvr stuff and that takes it back to not being able to give up my tivo so no go :'(

I will never go to the knock off DVR services. I have a TIVO Series 2 with Lifetime Membership that will be with me for as long as I can save the box. I think I may need to replace the HD soon, but all is well. I use it with Time Warner as well.

I am not sure if the new AT&T Internet Cable will be compatible though.
