Is it just me, or is the "its all about the academics" argument played out and fake. If it really were "all about the academics" wouldn't have Anderson gone to Cal?

If academics means access to professors, than MU has it all over Cal.   If academics means a broad based education at a Liberal Arts college, than MU has it all over Cal.   It depends on what you are looking for.

Even if you start it at 10:00, old people and kids won't be able to handle that.

the scrotum-less MU married men could still handle it(and maybe the wifey too).

Polish a 6 pack of Lite, head to MM till midnight, then go bird dog beaver at the bars.

Bird dogging beaver in Milwaukee requires a lot more than a 6 pack.  One of the many reasons many of fled Wisconsin after graduation.

This is soooooo... true. As a friend of mine from Houston used to say, "You can drink em perty(sic), but you can't drink em skinny".

Amen!!

4 years of hogballing was about all most of us could handle.

How about some stats from Women's Health?  I just get the feeling that many here do not care how fit the guys are in Milwaukee.

The study examined each city as a whole, not just the men.

I don''t know how they did that study, but let me tell you one thing:  I lived in Miami for eight years and there's no city in this beloved country that has better looking women than Miami.  OK, maybe LA and NYC, but that's it.   :o

Miami is kind of all or nothing...but the "all" is top of the line, choice cut, Latin and International beauty.  I would submit that Dallas/Fort Worth, TX..but particularily Dallas is definitely a Top 5 city..plus the girls here are not as attitude-laced as the LA and NY girls.  I''d put Dallas's "7's" and "8's" up against any city in the U.S.  We may not be the best city for 9s and 10s  - even though we have a lot - but when measured like 7's and up...I've never been to a city with more talent.

Talk about a flawed study!  My favorite exercise (no pun intended) is walk by the Milwaukee gate during my frequent visits through DIA and check out the fatties.  If I have time I will also stroll by the Vegas gates to count mullets.

Cal is one of the absolute best public universities in the country. A 4.0 might not get you in. It is super competitive. Ilove MU, but you cannot even attempt to compare the two. apples and oranges completely.

The difference is your child will not come out totally brainwashed from MU, only a 15% chance.  It's nearly 99% at Cal.

Miami, like any major city, has areas where the good-looking are hard to find.  BUT, go out on South Beach, Coral Gables, the Grove, U of M (not even mentioning Ft. Lauderdale) and the beauty is unrelenting.

I go to lots of major cities for work, including Dallas and Houston, about 3-4 times a year and I've been very impressed by the beauty in those two cities.  My current home of Atlanta is also not bad, but can't hold a candle to Miami.  Of course, I lived in Miami in the prime of my young adulthood so I was out and about a lot.  Now I'm practically a shut-in with 2 small children so harder to compare I suppose.

And no, Garlic, I've never been to Medicine Hat, have you?

Excellent point mileskishnish72. Believe it or not, Cal has a graduation rate of 20%, a full 80 percentage points below ours.

Yes, as someone of the female persuasion, I care how fit the guys are in Mke.  It is interesting how many have posted critical comments regarding the ladies, but probably believe you are better than average looking men.

Livin' the good life here in BC. Great herb, an ocean teeming with salmon and ling cod, and lots of earth mummys to keep a gent warm at night. Only damn bit about it is the HST but we're sorting that out right now, don't you never mind.  Now, as for spanking, i can only say I once met a gal in Kelowna who liked that sort of thing

It's funny how the absolute best academic institutions (and Cal is one of them) are always the ones that do the brainwashing.

What is really funny about this thread: How the hell does it go from Anderson's commit to which city in the US has the best looking poontang?

My vote goes to New Bern, N.C. or Newark, N. J.

Did you read my post?  I essentially said they were apples and oranges.  I don't care how elite Cal is, it isn't for everyone.  If you want a more intimate, liberal arts based education, where you can actually get to know your professors, than you will probably choose MU, and probably won't even apply to Cal.
