Pretty sure we made his final list...was teammates with Nick Williams if I remember correctly.

That might be the weakest preseason list I've ever seen.  EVER.  I think we all agree that DJO will blow up this year (and Butler will be solid).

Obviously there's no freshman on the list (however, freshman pg's Irving and Knight will have huge years).

Here's Katz's version.
9 -  Big Ten
8 -  ACC
3 -  PAC Ten
7 -  BEast
4 -  A10
4 - Big 12
5 - SEC
9 - other mid majors

No butler again but freeman made it this time. Goodman relented on twitter that he should've had Freeman on his list. "People are probably right that I should have had Austin Freeman on list. I have loved him since h.s. so I think I just have expected more."

He was also pestered about the lack of Butler:
"@RevDrJamalPFunk I'm not sure Jimmy Butler will be the best player on Marquette this year. I'll go with DJO over Butler."
"Put down your pom poms for a minute and be realistic. RT @mikebroeker: @goodmanonfox darius johnson-odom and jimmy butler"

If being the best player on the team is a pre-requisite why are there three players from Purdue, two from Ohio State, two from Michigan State, etc.?

"that list blows ... yancy gates makes the list..."

My thoughts exactly - you're way overweight and lazy, play no defense, may not even be the best center on his team, and he gets on that list?

Still no Marquette players.

From the big east:
Fischer, Freeman, Gates, Gibbs, Jones, Joseph, and Walker
