It's possible.  However, looking ahead to the 2011-2012 team, essentially half of the team is comprised of Top100 guys.

Playing like a Top20 prospect includes DJO (G). 

I'm just saying that if Buzz continues to bring in multiple Top100 guys each class, and a majority of these guys play at or near their expected level, eventually potential recruits are going to look up and down the roster and see boatloads of talent which means tough competition and little playing time if any at all (especially considering that Buzz hasn't shown much confidence in giving freshman extended game minutes).....which is a HUGE factor when considering a school.

BS...  Huge factor for a minority of players.  Syracuse has no problems recruiting top talent even with a loaded roster.  Neither does, MSU, Duke, UNC, KU, UK, OSU, Texas, and the list can go on. 

If playing time was such a HUGE factor, why is it that MU has such a hard time landing high rated bigs?  A blue chip big would have started as a freshmen for our team for the majority of the last decade and we couldn't land one.  As long as Buzz sticks to his word, plays the best players on the team, and wins games, talented players will come because they know that if they play well enough, they will get PT.  That's all that matters.

They have Deonte Burton of Vincent rated 97, and RayVonn Posey out of Washington also at 92.

Looking at the 2013 list raises another question: where do we stand with the Harrison twins (both rated 97 out of Houston's Strake Jesuit). 

You would think with Buzz's ties to Houston and the fact that their family obviously values a Jesuit education, we might have a leg up on the usual suspects.

2.  Regarding Centers..... while playing time is a factor IMO, another important factor would be that school's ability to put that particular player in the NBA.  While I understand that MU has had success in this department over the past decade, they haven't put 1 center in.  Further, since our defection to the Big East and the success of the 3 amigos, we have been labeled as a guard oriented team at the national level.  And word on the street is that when Crean was the Head Coach, other schools were negatively recruiting center prospects by telling them that MU is guard oriented and can't develop bigs. 

Not to mention the fact that the ratio of quality bigs to guards on the high school level is so imbalanced that the odds of landing a big in the first place are slim.  And those that are highly ranked are already going to Georgetown, UNC, Duke, Kansas, etc.

Strake is a very good private Jesuit HS, that started assembling high powered scholly BB teams from local public schools when public and privates merged play a couple of years ago. Maybe the Harrisons lost their "free ride " there.

The "jesuit" connection to Marquette or any jesuit school hasnt been much of a factor---Strake kids shoot for Stanford, Vandy, Duke, Rice, etc....its not that catholic. (example--Andrew Luck, Oliver Luck's (new WV AD)son, went from Strake to QB for Stanford--poss Heisman cand. in 2 years)

OK... looking at the top centers, I see commitments to New Mexico, St. Joesph's (totally a guard school), IL, Memphis, MSU, and Minnesota.  I don't remember them sending any major bigs to the league.  Its not about PT most of the time.
