Sorry to throw another name out there but with this talk of "knowing what you can do from the 3pt line" I thought of James Eayrs from UWM. Too bad he graduated I would have loved to see that match up, two players nearly 600lbs combined in a 3 pt shooting contest.

Reminds me of when MU hosted the NCAA's in 1992 and Popeye Jones with Murray State played against Oliver Miller with Arkansas.  I swear the floor tilted back and forth as they ran up and down the court.

I went back and looked up Key's stats, and Gardner obviously isn't going to put up these types of numbers.  But if he can get close by his Senior year and put up 10ppg and 5rpg I'd still be thrilled.

90-91 29.2mpg 13.2ppg 5.7rpg
91-92 27.0mpg 13.6ppg 5.7rpg
92-93 26.1mpg 13.6ppg 5.7rpg
93-94 33.5mpg 15.6ppg 7.9rpg

Damon Key must have been the most consistent play in the history of the NCAA for the first three years of his career.  No wonder his minutes went down his sophomore and junior years from the year before.  Why play him more, if his numbers are just going to stay the same anyway?

If Gardner is not matching Key's scoring as a senior when Gardener himself is a senior then Gardner can't be starting.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
