The music in the background at the beginning is the same as the one for presenting the Big Noggin of the game.

The guy who plays Bango is a total a-hole but I gotta admit the stuff he does is amazing.

Did you miss the part where I said the stuff he does is amazing?

I requested a trampoline for the eagle a few years ago.  No dice.

No one can beat Damon the Celtics mascot. The stories on how big of a prick he was are amazing.

I know it wasn't suppose to be a comparison, but you can't really expect full-time students in the eagle's costume to even come within a 1/10th of a athlete that gets paid big bucks to be Bango full time.

haha, yeah I was just wondering what kind of signing bonus/incentive/escalators might be in Bango's contract. I wonder what kind of scratch he brings in.

I shouldn't have said big bucks, but I'm pretty sure it is a well paying job from what I remember. And it is a job that they do year round. I think Damon the Celtics mascot that got fired wanted a raise to 100K. Doubt Bango is half that, but still not a bad job.

He's a pretty arrogant guy.  I guess you can be when you can do moves like that.

One funny story:  A few years back the Milwaukee Wave had a mascot night which included a game at halftime.  All of the mascots of various places around the Milwaukee area suited up in one of the empty locker rooms in the arena.

Bango must have felt it was beneath him to share the locker room with the others so he requested his own locker room.  Bernie the Brewer, Roscoe, the sausages, etc. had no problem sharing the locker room.  Grabowski (the Chicago Rush mascot) was pissed asking who the hell Bango thought he was.

Once the mascot game started, Bango was up to his usual stuff knocking the other mascots down and just being a d-bag.  Grabowski had seen enough and proceeded to "accidently" kick Bango right in the crotch.  Bango was on the ground for a minute or two.

At the end of the day he still dresses up in a deer costume for a living.

I wonder if he goes to bars and demands free drinks because he's Bango.

You watch that ladder backflip dunk video and you wonder .. how in hell does he get insurance to do something like that?  He's one quarter turn from snapping his neck on the landing.  All for a four second, stupid halftime stunt.

Since you asked:  I assume he's an employee of the Bucks, and if he did injure himself performing a stunt, it would be a work related event and covered under the Bucks workers compensation insurance.

Contrast that with the MU cheerleader in the mid 80's who fractured his neck against a floor mat, after doing a flip.  He was a student, obviously, and ended up suing the University, if my memory serves me.
