Well I have a graphic design class this semester and decided to mess around on photoshop with some game pics to see what I am capable of. Just tell me what you think I appreciate the comments. Oh and all my inspiration goes to MUCrew for his absoultly stunning pictures!!!

Second is my favorite.
First one is good though.
The last one looks like he is melting.

Nicely done.

The third one reminds me of Plastic Man, or that traveling show where they had the dead human beings that were "plasticized" for preservation.

Cool effect.

I like the plasticman effect.  I also like the light-burst in the 2nd version.

The second was the best between 1 and 2.

I actually really like the 3rd picture. That is a cool effect.

Actually, if you can localize it a bit, it'd been really cool.  Like, get rid of the effect on the ball and face, and then lighten it on his hands, I'd like it.

really think on this last one... get rid of the text

just let the emotion of Lazar Hayward be the main part of this picture, not the cliche "March Sadness" text...

Well I’ve been at it for a while now (basically every day) and have some new stuff.

Like all my Photoshop work, I put this on facebook. Being that I am friends with Wes on there I figured why not tag him in it so people can see it when they look at photos of Wes. So later that night I got back on facebook and I received a message from Wes. He said, "Really appreciate that. That pic is dope." Realizing what just happened I got a big grin on my face. Just thought that it was really cool that Wes took the time to look at it and thank me.

Cool thing about this one I made a few days later is that my friends were commenting on it saying I could be a poster designer. Well Wes commented, "I'll Buy". To me this is the most encouraging thing to keep me doing these photos.

If you're making them as backgrounds I suggest making them much larger resolutions, otherwise it's not even worth putting up a low quality image.  I'd suggest at least 1280x800 or something for most wide screen laptops.

Nice to see you're interested in this though.  I'd pay a little more attention to extracting the players and then perhaps change the glow behind him to white or blue and re work the type.  Use lens flare sparingly too.  If you wanted any more help I'd be more than willing to give advice and help you out too.  Keep it up man!

1680x1050 is a common desktop resolution too (in case you were bored and wanted to churn out a couple more ;))

I believe I would like it a little more if your middle name was not "wipemedown".
But then again I don't think you are seeking my approval.

Good work.
