MU is covering this roadtrip via Facebook, Twitter, and the GoMarquette website.

Here is the link to check out the pics of their plane trip and preparation in the hotel:

Enjoy!

EDIT: My favorite...you know it had to be Jimmy B!

Anything to be made with Otule's jersey being set out? Especially closest to the camera. Maybe just something to give Cincy to think about if they are following along too? Last game he was just in a sweatsuit, I doubt he was in uniform under it.

Well he's warming up and stretching and shooting.. yes in his jersey too.. hmmm!  High fives all around him as well.

Wow that's pretty surprising. Before Pitt he was warming up, but still had practice shorts on. Although I think some guys sitting out have worn the uniform with warmups. I wonder if he got a good report on his foot and it won't be season ending, thus the lack of red shirt. Obviously all speculation. Thanks for the update.

Yeah, um MU should remove that photo in about 1 nanosecond.  Just dumb to put that photo up there.  I could see every rival board posting that as something like "standard reading" by MU basketball player when I'm sure it's just harmless fun.  Dumb on MU's part.

Just bumping this thread. New pics.

While it was an exhilarating win for them (and for MU fandom worldwide), the boys had study hall at 7:50 tonight. I guess they had a slim margin of post-game celebration.

It's still there, click on the "older" link at the bottom.  Dumb for MU to have that up there.  Yeah, yeah, I know someone will say to settle down, it's no big deal, etc.  Well, from a PR standpoint, it's not very smart.

Really? Chastising the University because of what posters on "rival message boards" might post? Should UW-Madison be embarrassed that jackasses on this board (and others) put the words "I can't" in this photo?

EDIT: Side note--I just figured out how to insert photos in a post!

I'm pretty sure the mascot for UW-madison reading a kids book is to encourage KIDS to read.  In fact, it's part of their kids program where the student athletes go into schools and they give those posters, etc to the schools to remind the kids to do that very thing.

That's different, I think you would agree, then having an actual student athlete reading a kids book.

Let's put it in a different light.  If that picture showed up of a Badger, a Louisville Cardinal, a Cincinnati Bearcat, a UCONN Huskie or a few other schools reading said book, do you think people here would have a field day with it?   You know the answer is an emphatic YES.

Yeah we would, but we would still truly know that it wouldn't be the case.  Yeah we'd poke fun at it, but not believe it.

Jeez.

The best photo is of Homer and Mac....now that is what I call riding in style to the arena baby! I bet those two would be fun to go out out with and have a few beers on a roadtrip.

Absolutely nothing, which is exactly the point. It's funny. I think even Badger fans would agree. I'm sure the administration in Madison isn't rushing to remove all of those posters from circulation because of what some opposing fans did on a message board. There's no reason to get upset about that picture of Jimmy. It's funny. If opposing fans want to take shots at it, good for them. We'd do the same. Ultimately, it's meaningless. Chicos, chill out.

Jimmy checked out that book from the MU library at the direction of his athletic tutor to fulfill the rigorous demands of his Remedial Reading course.

Just to clarify, Jimmy was just looking at the pictures. The tutor reads it to him.
