Why can't this team just close out a game like a regular team?

Jeeeeeezzzzzz.    Gonna win, but why can't we just make FT's and inbound the ball?
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

Agreed.

But I'll deal with that tomorrow.

Tonight, we celebrate. :)

Agree with the inbounds stuff.  That has to stop.  They even had to try the old "trick" play this week and even that failed.

Huge, but ugly win.  And our we going to miss Lazar next year or what.

We will definitly miss Lazar but we got another great recruiting class coming in and should be 1 of the top teams in the big east very soon. But great win tonight and lets keep going and get locked into the tourney.

Good teams win when they look bad.  Bad teams only win when they play good.

We stumbled and fumbled and still won by 11 = we are a good team.

Let the rest go.

Agree completely.  I'm glad Buzz teaches the "zero margin or error" to get us to value every possession, because the lack of turnovers has been key to this winning streak.  But if you take it literally, this team is good-everything doesn't crumble if one or two things don't go their way.

You really can't let it go.  MU may be a good team, but they certainly aren't good enough to play like this and beat Pitt, for instance.  Having trouble closing out games isn't a new thing for the team.  And you would hate to see it bite them in the butt in a must-win game.

This was a game we probably loose in December.  The team is learning how to close games.  Plus, it's the Big East... anytime you beat a team by double digits you closed-it out.

No - but just be happy that you aren't so miserable in your own life that you have such a negative outlook on things, as does Gumby.  Truth is he's probably a Badger Troll.

I understand the concern over the missed 1and1 and the "4" sec call, but USF never got under 3 possessions down the stretch.  For us, this season, that is closing somebody out.

Yeah...stupid Marquette can't beat every team by 20! Can't hit every free throw! They even turn the ball over every once and a while!

These guys all play 35+ minutes; they're tired at the end.  Duh.

They got a little lax on a couple plays at the end, but I don't think it was ever in question.  They closed out fine.

I don't understand why EW and JC couldn't get at least a few minutes a game so these guys are not all playing 34+ minutes...

Can't say - I "ignored" him long ago.
