Any loss by Madison is a beautiful loss.   Interesting game, though.   Watching two guys Crean finished second on, Nankivil and Johnson, tear it up was depressing.

Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

They miss Leuer a lot right now.  How Penn State lost that game the other day was a colossal choke job.  I saw one play where their center had a point blank dunk under the basket and he traveled with about 2 minutes to go.

But even without Leuer, they are still a darn good team.

They make teams play frustrated basketball, Purdue is so much more talented than UW its ridiculous.  But when they run the shot clock down to 5 seconds EVERY possession, it tires them out and the end up shooting jump shots.  Its really ugly but effective.

That said, Purdue reminds me a lot of Villanova the way they can defend 40 feet away and put constant pressure on the ball.  They will be a tough team to beat in the tourney.

I was rooting for Wisconsin.  I have no idea how Purdue winning helps Marquette, while every win for the Badgers helps our SOS and RPI.

Our SOS and RPI are irrelevant at this point unless we can win sweep our remaining home games and win at least two on the road.

Entirely possible.  Purdue's record is irrelevant at any point.

wtf does this even mean.  I had you off of ignore for awhile, as you were actually providing thoughtful game analysis and insight, but I see that must have been a momentary lapse in your focus.

I am now more sure than ever that you are simply an internet nemesis created by Chicos in order to built support for his own arguments by polarizing people against his opposition i.e. "Mr. Hayward"

Think I'll follow that lead, too. What an asinine post that was.
