Yes officer, it seems my husband's been abducted. The man was, was wearing a blue leisure suit. Plates were from Kansas. He was a huge, beastly, bulging man.

HAHA classic!!

F-ing loved it!

MU is a colorful program and it should always stay that way.

Go Buzz!  Own that powder blue bro!

Reportedly, Buzz said jacket was worn as an homage to Al McGuire.

Yep - because he said Al died 9 years ago today - so was to honor him and all he did for the Marquette program....

DomJamesToTheBasket

The last time I saw that jacket, Mike Deane was wearing it vs. Cincy.  Huggins ripped him apart in the media afterwards.....and then I think they both went out and got ripped.

Post of the year. End of discussion.

Why is it that Buzz seems to resemble all of the comedic greats?  Is there anything not to love about this guy?

For the record, I loved the homage to Al.  And I've owned the same tie for years, it's my favorite of the bunch, yet my wife keeps trying to get me to throw it out.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

We better lock Buzz Williams up for a long time.  He is THE REAL DEAL.  Just read this quote from JSOnline:
Hill (Rutgers Coach Fred Hill) said your team is tough. What does that mean to you: "I want to be the husband and father that God intended for me to be as a human being. As a coach and everybody that I'm around, I want them to be, every day, tough suckers. Not game-day tough guys, not we're about to play a game tough guys. Every day, grind-it-out, work, be the toughest dude you can be. That's what I want to be. And if that's what our team is and that's what Coach Hill thinks, and I mean this in a sincere way, we appreciate that, because that's the highest compliment I think our team can have."

How can these guys not be well prepared for life after basketball?  Buzz is no phony, and has had to work his A$$ everyday to get to where he is today.  His message will get through to these kids, because he is a walking example of what hard work and focus will get you in life.
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

Afterward, Williams spoke of the powder blue jacket he was sporting on the sideline.

"Coach (Al) McGuire's death was nine years ago today," he said. "For me, without it being spoken, that's why I did it. Because if it wasn't for what he has done, and all the coaches before me, our institution probably wouldn't be what it is, and for sure our program wouldn't be what it is."

Great comments.

Love it. Love the blue jacket.

The more I see, the more I like.*

*fairness is posting, I am confused with Buzz's rotations right now, but I trust he knows his team better than I do.

Sorry I weigh about 180.  Buzz is not 180.

His head might weigh 180.
