Unbelievable how his life in terms of his public persona has changed in a week's time. His image will never be close to the same. At this point he may need to go the David Duchovny sex addict route just to possibly buy an ounce of sympathy. Don't think he'll get much though.

Gotta wonder about the few times he missed a cut if outside influences interfered with his concentration.
Regardless, whatever strokes he saved on the course, he obviously put to use later. Wonder if he scored better playing the back nine?

Maybe it's quite the opposite.  It could be that the tail was a soothing factor that helped him relax.  A monogamous Tiger may have only one a fraction of those tournaments.    I actually had a strong dislike for the man before a couple weeks ago.  I think I like him more and more by the day.

I gotta say I am starting to smell the work of a PR/Image Firm on this Tiger thing the last couple days...The Perkins chick in particular just isn't adding up. He needs some way to piece this thing back together. He can't really go the Larry Eustachy/Mel Gibson alcoholic route, so sex addiction would be another option. So, throw numerous, pretty outlandish stories out there to paint a picture of a rather self-destructive pattern so he can claim a psychological issue, get treatment and get his career back on track...Not his fault.

Entirely possible that is what actually is happening, but I guess I'm not quite buying it. Something's just a little fishy.

Hopefully he is not still taking the advice of the firm that told him to get married.

Who knew that Tiger secretly wanted to be John Daly?    The difference between Tiger and me is that I have had one woman and 10 putters over the last few years.   Seriously, I got my Golf Digest magazine yesterday with Tiger and Obama on the cover  (start snickering, Chico).   Every ad, every instructional tip, every article with/about Tiger left me giggling.    Serious penance, then image re-building to do.    Endorsements may dry up.    9 figures for Elin in settlement, probably 7-8 figures for all of the women....he is going to have to start playing more tournaments just to stay afloat financially.

Which is exactly the point I was trying to make above, and leads me to believe that a (large) percentage of these women haven't actually met the guy, but were actually put out there by Team Tiger in an effort to make him look as pathetic and under the control of his 'sex addiction' as possible.

What is going to make this linger longer is the fact that there are so many ready-made double entendres in golf.    Fore example, you never saw an LPGA pro hawking Wilson golf clubs a few years ago.   Can you picture it?   "Hi, I'm (LPGA Pro) and I love Wilson's fat shaft technology.   Combine with their Deep Red head, I am able to make the balls go longer than ever before, and can work them either way."    Yeah, that might have been awkward.
