Robert Jackson
« on: February 06, 2007, 03:34:50 PM »
It was mentioned on another thread that Robert Jackson continues to have some affiliation with the program. He has been seen at a lot of games, even sitting at the end of the bench recently.  Also, elsewhere it has been mentioned that he is coaching the bigs on their inside game.  We have seen a noticeable improvement in Barro's game and Fitz has been a pretty good rebounder this season, perhaps that Jackson has something to do with it.  Also, if you look at the rest of Crean's coaching staff, they are really all guards coaches or come from guard backgrounds.  Can anyone shed any light on what role Jackson is playing (if any) with the current team?  Has there been anything official announced?  Is it likely that he actually be given an assistant position in the future?

Thanks.

I think Robert is getting back into shape with the team. Also, Mac has been working out with the team too.
But I like to throw handfuls...

you are correct chili, i heard Jackson is getting back into shape for possibly playing in Europe or something along those lines hand both he and  Mac has been attending practices, Barro's improvement has been quite noticable and hopefully will continue.

I'm not sure if he's still doing it, but RJax and another guy started up a clothing store on Brown Deer Road .. about 2 years ago.

Yeah, when I heard he flew on the plane with the team to USF I was interested in his current status as well.
