Villanova "seems" to lead with Pinkston
« on: September 23, 2009, 11:29:01 AM »
Not sure if this qualifies as a "shred of evidence", but zagsblog is saying Villanova seems to be leading with Pinkston over us, St. John's and a few others.

In home visit for MU next Wednesday.  Hopefully Buzz can close the deal

If he is the number one player out of NY City, you go after him regardless of position.  Probably just another recruit though who has MU listed, but won't close the deal.

lol, I'd call it rumor... you know, what it actually is until someone can CONFIRM it.

rumors are not evidence Chico.  Enough with your backpedaling.

This was always going to be a hard player to land. Nova can get nearly anyone it wants on the east coast at this point and Pinkston's advisor used to work for, and still does under the table, Norm Roberts at St. John's.

If Buzz rolls into town (let's leave the jet and limo at home this time) and gets Pinkston hot and heavy on MU he would show those recruiter bona fides he is trumpeted to have.

Nothing can be confirmed until they sign a letter of intent...so by your definition, even a verbal is a rumor since it doesn't mean anything.

At any rate, I was right yesteday.   :D
