Carson Desrosiers - 2010
« on: April 27, 2009, 06:41:20 PM »
While reading  up on Brett Roseboro's recent AAU play, came across this interesting information in NBE Basketball Report's review of last weekend's Providence Jam Fest.

Carson Desrosiers
Quote
Good basketball length, but the big man needs to hit the weights and GNC to reach full potential in college. Decent footwork and speed, which is not quite that common for a man his size (6′10). Adequate defense now, but in time could be a defensive monster with the added weight. Had several blocks in this game and is very skilled for size and age.

This weekend, Desrosiers indicated to NBE that he had narrowed his list down to a top eight of his scholarship offers. The top eight for the Lawrence (MA) Central Catholic star consists of Syracuse, Providence, Marquette, Purdue, Stanford, UNLV, Arizona State and Georgia Tech.

Desrosiers is planning to visit with Purdue and Marquette this week

NBE also said that 6' 9" James McAdoo listed Marquette among schools that have shown significant interest in him along with just about every ACC school other than Miami

Ya Umass has been perusing this kid as well and he has already been to the temple game. Nice little interview with him on the Umass Blog I cheek as well a while back.

He seems Like a smart kid who has some good post moves and is still getting bigger as he was listed as 6-8 his sophomore yr. Averages a double double In a tough League and has Shot blocking skills that will only get better with size. Like the move Buzz is going and Keep that North East Pipeline Alive!

McAdoo is Scout's #1 power forward for the class of 2011 and UNC's top target for that class, apparently. A huge longshot, but nice to be among the schools he's mentioning.
