Quote from: ChicosBailBonds on March 20, 2009, 11:36:49 PMIf we can score 74 points against Villanova, we should be able to score 60 against a below average defense in terms of Utah State.  We looked tired, passive and settled for too many bad shots.  Fortunate on the w.   Looking forward to Sunday where it should be wide open.
I agree that we looked tired and at times passive, but I thought we got good looks quite a bit and just weren't knocking them down, which will happen.  Does anybody know what effect the altitude has on playing?  I don't know if it was the altitude or not, but we missed more shots short than I have ever seen before.

Also, I thought Jerel made much better decisions in terms of his shot selection.  He turned the ball over 5 times with only 2 assists I think, so that is not good and can't happen against Mizzou, but I remember multiple times where he normally would have shot a contested 3 and I was ready to scream at the TV, only to have him pull it down and drive to the hoop, and usually kick it out.
