Jerel has cost himself probably a million or so dollars since DJ went out.

he's fighting to stay on the draft board.  a 6'3 "shooting" guard who isn't shooting and lackluster defense in big games here in the end.  not a lot of demand for those in the nba

Played with no heart and looked like crap.  Nothing to be proud of today IMO.

Give USU some credit. Their halftime adjustments were spot on, especially as we weren't hitting from the outside. I kept thinking we needed to flash Lazar at the free thrown line to break the zone. Plus, USU started hitting inside and out, and when we felt the pressure, we overreached on defense, ultimately leaving their shooters open for the extra pass, the extra they always seemed to make and we (especially Jerel) rarely make.

Anyway, it's a win and we play Sunday.

Care to name them?

Wes Matthews and Jerel McNeal will both be drafted.  Care to bet?

Drafted yes, probably second round according to which players come out early.  Actually make the team? Not if they continue like this.

We are not playing our game.  Sheesh.  Playing like this we won't beat anyone.  Might as well let USU win and give them a shot.

This is insanity.

Take the charter home today and forfeit to UM or Cornell.  What is the use in playing on Sunday?

Came back from six down with less than five to play, dealing with a short bench and playing in a tough atmoshpere.

Quitters.  ::)

Gave up a double digit lead against an offensively inept team and routinely wasted offensive possessions throughout the game.  Our starters looked defeated throughout the second half, and IMO our only saving grace was that USU put themselves in a bad foul situation, which took away their two best scoring options and put us at the line.

You're on Bro. What's California known for again? How about a Wisconsin cheese gift box or Usinger assortment vs. Something from your neck of the woods?

So your subjective opinion that they looked deflated, based on what you saw on television, matters more than the objective fact that they rallied from six down with under five to play?
Interesting.

Thank goodness their leading scorer and the WAC player of the year is not one of their two best scoring options.

Oh ... I'd point out that this "offensively inept" team led the nation in FG percentage and and among the leaders in offensive efficiency.

Wow, so much to offer.

We're known for fruit loop politicians, a state $15 billion in debt, illegal aliens out the wazoo, raisins, wine, surf, garlic, avocados.

From that list, what would you like?

Now, what's the bet....drafted or makes a NBA team?

I'm proud MU played like crap...and got a W!!!  Only 32 teams in the nation can say they moved to the second round...

would you rather have them win the first round of the NIT?\

I THINK NOT!  BIRKIE WARRIOR, WHO YOU CRAPPIN?!?!?!

MU_Warrior44

+10000000 I don't care how ugly the game is as long as MU wins. I'm proud of the win.
