I'm somewhat new to this blog, but I haven't read anything on feelings towards Jimmy Butler.

I thought he would be the best bench player at the beginning of the year, and finally he is proving my point. His alley op last night was awesome and his offensive presence is getting better and better every night.

Don't know about all of you out there, but I'm really pumped to see Lazar and Butler run the floor next year. Very impressed!!

There have been numerous threads on JB. His following here has grown along with his improving game. Last night's game vs. SH is becoming the norm now for JB. He is solid and has shown signs of flash -- last night's alley-oop was the latest. He knows his role and accepts whole-heartedly. The real interesting thing I think is how he came to MU. He committed to Buzz without having made a campus visit. That's faith and the relationship he developed with Buzz. He is also at MU largely because there was an open scholly after Scott Christoperson transfered to Iowa State. We lost SC but gained JB. To use a metaphor from an MU-game sponsor, That's the silver lining.
