I predict McNeal will pass up Ellis in scoring before James does.

I think Jerel will pass DJ just because of the way the offense is structured this year. These lists show effective Travis was -- 284 of 687 (over 40%) on threes,  83.7% from the line -- but I couldn't believe DJ's 3-point percentage (148 of 504). Is he really under 30% for his career?

Yep.  His best year was last year at 31%.  But two years ago when he had the most attempts of his career he shot 27%.

A lot of this info can also be found on the wiki. It is also updated through NC State. The "All-Time" leaders all have the current players and their career totals YTD included as well

How about Wade's 1281 points in two years.  Can you imagine if he stayed and improved his game those two remaining years?

I always thought Wade only left 1 year of eligibilty on the table. I thought the year he had to sit out counted against him since he was a partial qualifier, and it wasn't a red-shirt year.

Well, even so, with 1,281 points in two years, he easily would've added 500 to knock off Thompson's 1,773

With the partial qualifier rule as it existed at the time, had Wade stayed for 2003-2004 and graduated on time in 2004, he would have gotten the "redshirt" year back as a full year of additional elgibility for the following season.

Oh ok thanks, i didn't realize you could get the year back. I wasn't debating the fact that Wade would have had the scoring title even in 3 years because I don't think there was much doubt barring injury, just wondering about how much eligibilty he had left.

Wade is my favorite athlete ever.  I first read about him in Street and Smith where it said Marquette's best player is on the bench as freshman ineligible and then he started out with that great win in Indiana. If he was not so unselfish our team would have won his first NCAA game against Tulsa.

No problem.   Should get fun from here on out as Dom and Jerel are set to pass people pretty quickly the rest of the way on the all time scoring list.

It's amazing that Wade is #25 and he only played two seasons at Marquette.
