Rocky said it best...we have four BE quality players. They are very good players but the drop off is almost scary. Don't everyone get pissed at me but I really, really, really think Buzz is in over his head. As good of a recruiting class as we have on paper do we really believe they will be better than the big 4 this year?

Watching everyone other than the big 4 is not a pretty sight. I thought at the time and still think Butler was wasted scholly. Not totally panicking about the future but getting there. All the more reason why need Jamil Wilson. We need studs BADLY.

The drop off in talent after the big four is not Buzz's fault. You can thank the unbalanced recruiting of the previous coach for that.

Detroit---You are right the drop off is not Buzzs fault. However, it is his responsibility to correct the issue. The Big 3 are going to be tough to replace. My concern is not making NCAA this year and a down year next year. You can fall a long way in two seasons.

Guys---I love Maymon. Again look back six months when I was begging for everyone to overlook his Dad, his grades and hope he became a Warrior. We need seven Maymon's to compete in BE. This year we have 4 basketball players. Next year three of those guys have to be replaced by freshman---no easy task.

Top 15 recruiting class is awesome. Even better when you are not replacing your three best players.

3 of the 4.  Lazar is somewhere in 1-3 on the team.  Not really sure where.

Is he not correcting the issue????? I think Buzz is playing the hand he was dealt.  Its not his fault 4 players bolted, 2 got injured and our 3 best players are seniors.  I am on the fence on Buzz but he is bringing in great talent.  He is addressing our lack of height.

Gymbar, with our without the previous coach, next year the three amigos would have had to be replaced. We are dealing with the hand we have been dealt due to the previous coach's unbalanced recruiting which left us too many players that , while they try hard and are good guys, are not quality Big East players as well as the turmoil and understandable departures of a few roster players and commits for 08 ( Taylor and Williams) deciding to play elsewhere. Given the situation that was thrust upon him, to recruit three four star players and the number one juco guard in the country for 09 ( particularly since these players committed quite early after their official visits)as essentially a first year head coach is a remarkable feat in my opinion and Buzz has shown that no longer will MU have an unbalanced roster of 7 guards in the 5 6 to 6-2 range. The jury will be out for a while on his coaching ability and he must be given time to learn on the job as did Crean but I am not worried in the slightest that he is in over his head on the recruiting front at all. In fact, under Buzz and his staff we are now recruiting in almost every corner of the country instead of the few pockets of the country under the previous coach.

Once a warrior always a warrior.

We are still paying for Crean's lack of recruiting quality bigs and his late departure.  Would Saunders have helped - yes. Would TM have helped, maybe for 5 fouls. Tyshaun Taylor and Nick Williams would have helped.

You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.
