I assume this is going to be a national commercial?

So how many people on this board were the Wade doubters back in 2000 & 2001 posting on whatever MU forum was around then haha?

WADE 4s are UGLY.

He really has not been made a above-average caliber of shoe.

True, but they will sell like hotcakes.

I always liked the 1st edition Wade's.

These 2 are my most comfortable sneakers and the first 2 pairs that I purchased...

Then I bought these when they were on sale at Eastbay for like $30

But this pair is my personal favorite.

+1  I love Wade, but I hate his shoes.

There are a lot of guys who leave school, go on to bigger and better things, and never acknowledge their roots. For example, Derrick Rose was announced at the Bulls game tonight as a guard from Chicago...not Memphis. Not Rose's fault, but I would venture Wade will always be a 6'3" guard from Marquette in the starting lineup. DWade goes out of his way to bring up his roots and respect his journey to the upper echelon of the NBA. It's not only classy but humble in many ways, too. How many NBA stars would agree to do a commercial that brings up their weaknesses? My guess is not many.

Anyone catch the new Wade NBA commercial.

It goes through his life with pictures from birth and it completely skips over MU.

I saw it and thought the exact same thing. It's like he jumped from H.S. to the NBA. I was a little upset by it.

In the last scene where he grabs his shoes, you get a pretty good look at the bottom of the MU converse warm-up pants. I've got a pair myself. The blue/gold trim gives it away.
