"Marquette Madness" Offers First Look At Basketball Teams Saturday

Fans of the Marquette University men’s and women’s basketball teams will get their first look at the 2008-09 squads Saturday night at “Marquette Madness,” and annual event that signifies the start of practice for both programs.

Doors to the Al McGuire Center will open at 6 p.m. and admission is free. Highlights of the action-packed night include:

    * Free Converse/Brand WADE T-shirt to all in attendance
    * Free poster to all in attendance
    * Men’s & women’s team introductions
    * Video Presentations
    * Men’s dunk contest
    * Dance/cheer performances
    * Team scrimmages
