Sounds like a lot of big programs (MU and the rest of the Big televen) were after this kid after he blew up this summer.

The following quote from his dad will get some on this board riled up:
'You have to look at a school that will give you personalized treatment,' he said. 'The coach has a lot to do with it. The school name has nothing to do with it. Indiana and Minnesota play a plodding offense like football. Watching Coach (Jim) Les' team, it's a more open offense where John can benefit and use his open-court skills.' The elder Wilkins was also impressed that Bradley president Joanne Glasser took time to meet with his son on the school's first day of the fall semester.

I say keep an eye on this recruit's younger brother: 7 ft tall as a 14 year old!

I have absolutely nothing to base this on, but I get the sense that the dad is "inflating" the interest from other schools.

I am not so sure MU wasn't interested with TM backing out recently--and this is a late deal...Wilkins would be eligible Dec. 20.  Both Les and the Wilkins Dad played in the NBA.  btw, Les has done a great job at Bradley rebuilding.  Having played in The League and his Chicago roots help him in recruiting.  Plus, being an alum, he can get the Prez to step in with some TLC.
