Clanton, Fields and Blount head to Reebok All-American Camp

The Orlando Sentinel's 2007-08 area basketball Player of the Year, 6-foot-8 forward Keith Clanton of Orlando Christian Prep, is headed to next week's Reebok All-American Camp in Philadelphia, along with two other rising seniors, Dexter Fields (6-2) of Olympia and Rodney Blount (6-0) of Ocoee.

Fields and Blount earned invites with strong performances at a Reebok event in Jacksonville last month. In his work for FloridaHoops.com, Orlando-based talent scout Rick Staudt rated Fields as the top player and Blount as the most impressive point guard at the Jacksonville stop.

Diana Neal, Fields' guardian and coach for the Florida Assault travel team he plays on, said the college's most interested are Nebraska, Penn State, Marquette, Georgia Southern and George Mason.
