I would be shocked if DJ gets drafted ahead of Jerel. Size matters.

MR.HAYWARD

based on that list i would expect them both to get drafted.  james and jerel are simply better than a good number of the guys mentioned.  I firmly beleive they will prove that this year.  Nothing wil help their draft status more than a great season and a good run in March

bilsu

You are better off going undrafted, than being drafted 58th. Then you can sign with a team that best suits you.

Tell that to DJ Augustin.

Way too soon to say.
Where did Goodman have Russell Westbrook, Jason Thompson, George Hill and Javele McGee going this time last year?

pakuni, that wasn't a knock on DJ. I hope they both wind up making a lot of money professionally. I just think at 5-10 you have to be extraordinary to get to the next level. At 6-3, you can make up some of the difference with height.

muwarrior87

he may be listed at 6'3" but Jerel is NOT 6'3"

I don't think you were taking a shot at DJ. I just was pointing out that smaller point guards can and do get drafted into the NBA if they're good enough (see also: Speedy Claxton; Dan Dickau; TJ Ford; Jameer Nelson; Sebastian Telfair; etc.).
The main barrier to DJ being drafted/making an NBA roster will be his shooting, not his size, IMO. Everything else about his game is good enough to be at least a 2nd/3rd point guard on an NBA roster.
