.. I remember being like 10 years old and finding a few Carlin comedy records in my parent's collection.   Maybe my parents didn't know the language on there .. I listened to those a bunch of times, had a lot of it memorized.

I went to one Carlin stand-up show about 15 years ago.  He was terrible, rambinling, incoherent at times.  My guess, is he was pretty high on something at the time.

Surprised he made it to 71 years old.

Aside from Richard Pryor...he was the greatest in my book. Rest in peace to both of the greatest stand up comedians who ever lived.

I'm sure Pryor is having a blast roasting Carlin - who probably had some issues getting past St. Peter!  :D
