Tim Russert: Rest in Peace

Not usual for a sports forum, but .. Tim Russert collapsed at the news bureau in Washington .. dead at age 58.

Just shocking.  Good Irish Catholic .. Jesuit educated .. Alpha Sigma Nu member. 

He's one of those guys .. kind of a hero to me.  Very sad.

I always admired his annual father's day tribute to his dad Big Russ on Meet the Press.  Especially sad it happened on this weekend.

Seemed to always be fair on both sides of the fence and asked the tough questions.  His ability to help non insiders understand what was going on in Washington will definitely be missed.
