No one has shown any real consistency.  Ergo, the team has been woefully inconsistent.   We knew going in that we were going to struggle to replace Novak's shooting, and the three senior's leadership.   No one has consistently stepped up on either the shooting or leadership front.   We still do not have a consistent post game.  Ooze has shown flashes, again, no consistency.   DC seems to be losing confidence rather than gaining it.  Lazar is making good progress.  Trend continues to be a wild card.   The three musketeers are going through growing pains.   All have made progress, but I think we now realize how important Novak was last year.   It sure is nice having a go-to guy who can take and hit the big shot from distance.   He glossed over a lot of mistakes and removed a ton of pressure.   Overall, this is a young team.   There will be more games like Duke.   Hopefully, we can avoid more games like NDSU.   Prediction, another 10-6 BE season, rankings near the bottom of the top 25, a 5 seed, and the proverbial 5-12 upset by some MVC team.     Happy New Year, everyone.

I love McNeal.  He plays balls out 100% of the time.  But a B+ is way to kind.  As others have pointed out, he can be a negative performer because of his turnovers and bad shot selection.  B+ on Defence.  C on Offense.
