Recruiting Wiki .. record

Just wanted to drop a note to all the folks who have been editing the wiki, particularly adding new content to the recruiting section as .. it's a HUGE hit.

As a long time editor of the wiki, I know you get a lot less feedback for your efforts, than forum posts.  That's why I'm posting this..

Yesterday, we set a new record for wiki traffic with 1400+ unique users in 1 day .. sure the timing had to do with Maymon's commit, but it goes to show you that if you build it, they will come.

(Whose page was #2?  No, not Buzz or Erik Williams.  Freeway, of course.)

what are you trying to do?

I wanted to add a section where people could add names that were not on scouts etc.  BMA and others will frequently add names that are not on there and I thought it would be useful.  For instance Varez Ward was at one time considered for a 2008 recruit. There have been numerous other credible threads with prospects for 2009.

When I go to the playground it is blank.  There used to be buttons etc but I no longer see them.

Edit is OK.  I could edit if I knew what I was doing.  But when I click on playground, it is dead.  I cant type anything etc.

It's been a couple days, so I don't know if this got resolved....anyhow...

Are you talking about this playground:

If so, when you go there you should have 3 tabs at the top of the page.  The middle one should say "edit this page".  If it says "show pagesource" then you need to first click the "Login" link at the top right of the page.  After logging in (be sure to select "Remember me") it should take you back to that page and have the edit tab on it.

Thanks for getting back.  I can log in and get to the playground and the middle tab says "edit this page".  However, the playground is dead.  I can't type anything and I thought there used to be buttons - there are none now.

Hmmm...sounds like it might just a browser/cache problem.  I just tried it and it worked fine for me - there are buttons.  A screen-shot is attached.

Thanks again - I can get there now and I realize what I was doing.  I was clicking the purple playground button again from the screen you showed.  If you do that it takes you to a dead screen -  maybe that button could be inactivated.
