We have lost so much to IU over the past few weeks wouldn't it be great to have him transfer to Marquette. He could sit out next year and come in as a junior or senior in two years and fill in the shooting guard we will desperately need in our system. I understand this goes against my previous statements on recruiting ad rebuilding but it may work with getting Johnnie lacy for pg and Bassett playing the shooting guard (he shot 45% from three last year - something Marquette would love to have on the team) along with e. williams and Lazar hayward we could have a  legit team in '09

The kid had academic and attitude issues at IU, and according to some of their fans had issues with pot as well.  He's not the kind of kid you want at MU regardless of how talented he is.

I honestly think that the reward may out weigh the risk. At a jesuit school it is a lot easier to shape a kid than at a public school with 40,000 undergraduates. (see the abuses within the Madison football team)

Stop grasping at straws.

this is not a legitimate post. it was a complete joke. while the player on the court would help greatly, the cancer off the court would not be worth it

Why would we want IU rejects?  Let it go.  Crean is doing what he needs to do.  Buzz will do what he needs to do.  MU will be fine.  Let it go.

If it was a complete joke why would you defend your position after the first post...

MU Vike is not going to like this post...
